Postponed...
"An Evening With AMP" has been postponed due to the snowstorm and will be rescheduled, likely in early January.

A tragedy like postponing "An Evening with AMP" would have never happened in a nice place like Vancouver where it is rumoured to have once snowed in the city, sometime around the second World War....
Seriously though, what are you going to do for your westcoast audience?
Hi Brock! Actually I was happy to have a bit more time to prepare the talk. And of course when Vancouver does get a few centimeters of snow, it's a disaster of epic proportions, paralyzing the city for several days... ;-)
Unless my gainfully employed wetcoast, er westcoast audience wants to pool their disposable income to fly me out to Vancouver (say, there's an idea...), I probably won't be gracing British Columbia with my presence any time soon so you'll have to console yourselves with my travel photos at www.marmotpower.com. All 3093 of them.
I grew up in a small town in central Maine where my paternal ancestors have lived for eleven generations. I recently earned my Ph.D. in Molecular Biology & Genetics from the large medical school that sprawls over East Baltimore. I've spent the last eight years living in Vancouver, BC, whence I have recently repatriated myself back to the United States. In early 2006 I will be moving to the Washington, DC area where I will (hopefully!) find gainful employment.
